ThinkingPod is a group of graduate students at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh. At the heart of the team are members who have worked as architectural designers and are now pursuing graduate studies in the field of green design and construction management.
The team has worked on energy simulations and worked on the solution for the Dow Solar Design to Zero competition. The design proposal is a residential unit to house three families with two, four and six family members which conforms to the present high performance norms and energy conservation trends.
